About Dr. Lacey Rasmussen
Dr. Lacey grew up on a farm north of Spokane in Chewelah, Washington. She has had a variety of pets and animals in her life from a very young age. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from veterinary school she did a year-long rotating internship at an emergency and critical care facility in Los Angeles, California. After finishing her internship she accepted a position as a staff doctor in the emergency and critical care department. In 2013 she returned home to the Spokane area to be closer to family. She is married to her husband David and they have two sons Ian and Lincoln. In addition to their human children, they have two pet children Gertrude and Tiny Tim (Chihuahuas).
